72 gmc k1500 badging help

Can someone help with what all appropriate badging would have come on a basic k1500? Front end only it's got a flatbed

Fenders gmc 1500
Custom ,v-eight or Sierra? I assume custom

Then would it get v8 350 under the marker lights?

And what about the little rectangle 4wheel drive emblems where do they go?

Thx

A picture of the glove box parts id decal\SPID will help with resolving the model specific questions.

Can see my K1500 badge here (post #4) although mine isn't base but the Chevy equivalent of a custom deluxe truck: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=638747

Yours might have had "Custom" or "V-Eight" (if so equipped)" rather than "Super Custom"

Looks like a nice truck
I do not think that the 71-72 had the four wheel drive emblem
Earlier trucks had it below the side marker.
Later the engine size was there
Here is a couple of links that refer to your question
I am sure the experts will chime in pretty quickly

Re: 72 gmc k1500 badging help

Been digging. I think all it needs is the gmc 1500 custom I think

The engine displacement I think was only on chevys

4wheel drive emblem maybe only on 70s?
