Exhaust header brands

Has anyone found shorty headers that work in a 1971 gmc k15 with the manual clutch linkage still in place?

I have a crack in my passenger side manifold and need to replace it with either a used one or replace with a new pair of shorty headers.

I have spoken with local parts shops and I'm told there is no such thing but I'm having a hard time believing that.

To get a counterman most parts stores open a trap door in the sidewalk out front and hire whoever falls into it. That's why I NEVER take their advice. I like Sanderson headers. Their tech line is covered by a GIRL of all things but she has her stuff together! A call to them should identify a header that fits your particular truck. The only problem with headers is they 'ring' when eavh cylinder fires. A trip to the local pick a part should net you a good cast iron replacement. Manes also has the cast replacements. http://www.manestruckparts.com/store/Store_Search.cfm

Re: Exhaust header brands

The issue I'm finding at scrap yards is I need a center exit and most are rear exit. along with most shorty headers.
