Air ride HELP!
Hello everyone,
I do not want to buy an air ride kit for the fact that it cost a lot of money. So I'm asking all of you guys and gals to help me build it on a budget. I have all of the tools to build it I just don't know the best places to buy the items of all of the little items I need. Does anyone have a list of all items needed for it. Please help.

52 views and no ideas..... I don't have air ride on any of my trucks but I would think you could go to some of the suppliers web sites and get some idea of what comes in the kits. It will take some research.... LockDoc

I am interested in installing air bags on my 70 suburban as well. I have found kits on ebay for $1600. I would love to put together something for less.

You would have better luck posting this in the suspension forum. Use the search function and you will come up with several low buck air ride posts. I would not skimp on no name bags or cheap fittings though. If you really want air ride on the cheap, just route the bags to individual schrader valves for now and add your tank, compressor, and valves at a later date. Board member way2low2 (Borris) can sell you everything you would need and is a wealth of information.

I built my air ride off of craigslist, the only new parts I purchased was the air line. If you want to save time and efforts a kit is the best way to go.
