63 C20 Fire Dept
Well hello to all here on the forums!
I have been browsing the forums for quite some time but now seems like the perfect time to jump into the mix. I am a proud owner of a 1963 C20 fire department special that found me about a year ago, and I have been restoring ever since. The owner I bought it from said that since the firehouse the truck had only passed hands once, leading me to believe that this truck had sat for quite some time. No worries, 27 years could not possibly put any harm to a truck right? Either way the truck was a 63 c20 custom with factory air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, 292 engine, 4 speed with a granny, trans brake, rust is free floor panels, spotlight, in fender storage, air compressor, winch in the front, all original wood in the bed, and a freaking hood scoop. Honestly I could not believe I was lucky enough to find such a gem. I look forward to enjoying the site with everyone, and hope yall enjoy whatever insanity I may post! |
