My Saturday!
Well since I sold the 56 Tuesday and the wife has been down at the beach house with our grandson for over a week I decided it was time to take a ride. I drove down last night in the 64 SS Impala.
Been cleaning it up most of the day today when not playing with Rhett.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. Last edited by leddzepp; 04-08-2020 at 12:31 PM. |

Re: My Saturday!
Yea I plan to keep it for the summer and sell it this fall. Hope the market is better by then. It was a 5 hr ride down. I filled it up for $1.39-9 before I left. I had to stop in Darlington SC to fill up again @ $1.69-9! Checked the MPG it's about 15-16. Not bad for the 2 speed PG I guess. I ran with the window downs no AC though it was perfect weather. Got a lot of thumbs up and had several people take pictures as they went by!
If I sell it I will be going after one of these. The top pictures are of my mom's old 68 Camaro. The little girl in the one picture is my niece. She is almost 40years old now. My brother, her dad bought the car from dad and kept it for several years then sold it. The last 2 pictures are of one I found for sell.

Re: My Saturday!
Very nice Andy. I do have to say I am more of the big Chevy kind of guy than a maro. But both are beautiful and go for whatever hits the spot!
