SPID paint code 1 523FC
My 1970 GMC SWB C10 appears to have been white originally but its been painted a few times since. It has SPID option No. "1 523FC" and description of "special paint". Does anyone know what this "special paint" means?

That would be a color that is not on the standard list. You'd see it on Forestry trucks for example, which were their own choice of green. I can't help you on the white, though.
