My daughter gave birth last night she had a little girl . 6lbs 1 oz her name is Madison first girl grandchild . She was in mild labor since the morning but around 5 last night it became more intense. She just about made it to the hospital baby was born in the ER before they even could give my daughter an IV and no drugs completely natural birth .

Congrats Mark, my second daughter and 3rd kid overall came last Thursday afternoon. They are such a blessing! Our labor adventure wasn’t near as interesting as your daughters though.

On their last visit my younger grandkids were getting fussy so my wife and I evacuated to the garage for a beer and some quiet time away from the next generation.

My 10 year old grandson walked out to the garage and said "You guys are hiding out here aren't you?

Smart kid. That's exactly what we were doing.

This baby coming while on the way does not happen much anymore as to not making it all the way to the hospital,,,glad everyone is resting now and it will now be a story to tell down the road quite a bit.. happy for your daughter and for you Grand PA..

They are keeping them till tomorrow since the baby came so quick my daughter got no antibiotics in the IV . Just to be safe since she had to have a few stitches.
