283 air cleaner on 250 6
Is a stock air filter housing from a 283 the same as the one that goes on a 250 straight 6?

Different size base hole.
283 is bigger, as it’s a 2bbl carb. |

I check the fit today and think the 283 air filter will work just fine. I just thought the 250 air cleaner might be a little smaller overall
