rear wheels
I am planning on changing my 69 over to 5 lug wheels any one running 15x10 rear wheels on a 4" drop? If so what is your backspacing, Centerline tech guy said I should probably stay away from the 10's out back.

I know you are only doing a 4" drop, but a 15"x10" wheel/tire with 4" b.s. would stick out slightly past the bed side. That looks hillbilly in my opinion. I think wheels/tires look best when they are spaced out as far as possible while still staying in side the fenders. I think you can fit 10's in the back, but you need to pick the right backspacing. Also, your tire size will be a factor too. Just because a wheel fits in the wheel well, doesn't mean the tire is going to fit too.

Before going larger in the back I ran a 5" drop with a 15 x 10 with a 5" offset and that was with a 295 x 50

i have 295x50x15 on 10inch 5"backsapace 3" drop and they fit and wqrk fine inside the wheelwells

Are we talking fleetside, or stepside? I'd like to know the maximum b/s I can put on my stepside, because 5" looks like it would be cutting it pretty close.
