Found some info - over 400 feet tall, 120 mph. It's at Cedar Point in Ohio.
The line of cars looks like a dragster. There is a video on this site: linky

Holy crap that must be a bad Azz ride. want to make sure your "empty" before heading on that one
and doesn't look all that bad after watching the video...120mph is pretty cool...i thought 70 mph in a coaster was fast!

She looks pretty hot....to bad about the "accident"
On another note that coaster looks like it kicks a$$. I love roller coasters but sadly the only amusement park i've been too is Six Flags in St. Louis....i've heard good things about Cedar Point and will have to go some day.

Been there, done that. I guess I am lucky living 2 hrs away... that coaster is fun...its called teh Top Fuel Dragster or somethin. The first time I rode it, the mechanism was not able to launch the car fast enough the first 3 attempts, so we'd go partway up the hill then back to the starting pad, so it lasted a while. When it works normally, its over and done with too soon.
My guess about the snow is, its really f'in windy up there all the time because its on the lake. And for as high as that is, it doesnt surprise me there is no snow stuck to it. One other thing... I suggest for anyone going, to make sure your neck is in good shape. Not for the coasters, but you will get a workout staring at all the ass up there. Not too many ugly girls, in my experience... I'd say that girl is representative, although slightly overdressed EDIT: WTF? My post should be #30, but its #20 for some reason. I responded after Spoof's post (#29) and it showed up here. ???

I would do it. Of course I also use to jump out of airplanes at 800ft going 120MPH for a living. I have also seen grown men lose thier lunch when doing that so people do get paralized by fear but I can't help it...
...I love to see hot chicks lose contol. |
