Got the bed up, now how do I get hte fuel pump out?
Got the bed held up on the drivers side by a jackstand between the frame, felt no screws or bolts holding the fuel pump in the tank, how does it come out? Im waiting on a buddy to help push the bed back so I have an open view of the top of the fuel pump.

There is a giant snap ring on the top that holds the pump in.

the ring has tabs and you can take a good drift and hit those tabs... I'm guessing counterclockwise to loosen but it's been a while since I did mine.

Re: Got the bed up, now how do I get hte fuel pump out?
pulled the pump, the rubber line looked ok, but I held the end of the pump in the gas while the rubber was out, and nothing leaked out. Truck still ran like crap. Fuel filter is brand new, I'm running out of ideas. Coolant temp sensor read properly, so I just ordered a new throttle position sensor, gonna try that and if it doesnt work Ill return it. Last thing I can think of is knock sensor. I rebuilt the throttle body already, no change. Any ideas? It will run kinda if I feather the throttle barely till it gets kinda running at a tiny bit of throttle input, then it will idle. Then if I am under the hood I can slowwwwwwwwwly increase the throttle till it gets revving nice, but eventually doesnt like it, dont have a tach so I dont know the RPM but id guess at least 3000. There is good pressure out the exhaust, give me ideas please!!!!
