Newbie with a drivetrain swap question
I have been searching here and have not quite found what i am looking for.So i guess i better go ahead and ask. I have a old 69 1/2 ton farm truck that for the most part is all manual. What year model donor truck should i be looking for that would be the easiest to swap out all the power steering, brakes and column...ect. I am hopping to do a complete swap of the front suspension and rear end and for the most part the entire drivetrain. Thanks for any help

Re: Newbie with a drivetrain swap question
Welcome to the forum
'71-'87 will get you front disc brakes, and power steering, but keep in mind those will be a 5x5 wheel bolt pattern. However you can buy aftermarket 6 lug rotors for the front. For power brakes, the '67-'72 boosters will be a direct factory style bolt on. If you can not find one, I sell a booster bracket for the '67-'72's that doesn't hang so far from the firewall.
