Enlarging hub wheel stud holes
What is the best way to take my ho52/ho72 rear hub from 1/2" wheel studs up to 9/16"? I am thinking either a drill press or a ream, but I'm not sure you can use a ream to go from 1/2 up to 9/16. Also, are the hole sizes actually 1/2 and 9/16 or a touch under or over? I wanted to just find 71-72 hubs but that is next to impossible.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Enlarging hub wheel stud holes
Looks like they're going to be around .623 knurl so a 39/64 (.610) drill bit should be good enough for an interference press fit? Only worry is how centered it will be when boring out

Re: Enlarging hub wheel stud holes
Put in press and use 9/16 bit to center
