Watching "Cops," spotted our trucks!

In an episode where two skinny guys were arrested for public intoxication/sniffing paint; in the right background sat a blue stepside with spare tire on driver's side! I couldn't tell if long or short wheel base.

In the next episode, a goldish fleetside was crashed through a block wall by a drunk driver (poor truck!) in Vegas. Drunk fought with ambulance people, pushed one out the back door while vehicle was moving, and escaped but was quickly apprehended.

Anyone else see that last night?

I'm watching "The Streets of San Francisco" on Youtube starting at the pilot episode which features a beautiful ambulance model, and there is at least one of our trucks in every episode! I wouldn't have figured 'Frisco to be the pickup capital, obviously the trucks are popular for a good reason!

Good eye on the colors...the driver's side door was grey as I recall. The truck looked pieced together.

So if we were the "Cops'" video guys....would we get distracted by '67-'72 trucks when film?

I was really mad that he crashed that truck. Until I saw that door, that made me feel a little better.
