Drive belt question (86' C30 454, hydroboost w/ac)

86' C30 454, crewcab dually, hydroboost w/AC
Going to resurrect the AC in this truck.

Truck already has a serpentine belt for the WP, alt and air pump.
Also a V belt for the WP, and power steering, but not the AC compressor.

Looks like to get the AC going again belt wise, I replace the existing belt to also drive the AC, but do I add a 3rd belt from the engine to the power steering pump too?

3 belts total or 2 belts total?

TIA

Re: Drive belt question (86' C30 454, hydroboost w/ac)

factory is 4 total.
1st-(ribbed belt) crank, wp, alt. (smog pump also)
2nd (v-belt) crank to hydroboost (short belt closest to block)
3rd (v-belt) crank, wp, hydroboost, ac comp
4th (v-belt) I believe it was from the hydroboost to the 2nd smog pump. I pulled the smog pumps. but don't remember exactly how it went.

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Wow! 4 total?! I'm picking up the truck Sunday to work on at my house so I'll take pictures then but I think the power steering pump only has 2 v-grooves on it and only one smog pump.

Going to put a new fan clutch in too. Owner says temp climbs when going up hills and at low speeds.

You may have only 2 v-grooves. 3rd groove ran 1 of the smog pumps (had 2)
2nd pump may have been a nod to the emissions gods. My truck had factory duals, no cats, and legally could run regular gas.

Worked on the truck today. Power steering pump does have 3 grooves like your photo.

I think our 86' is the same as your Donut. Dual exhaust, carb, no cat, one smog pump.

Did not get the used compressor installed today. Spent most of the day replacing door hinge pins and bushings on the drivers side, then replacing the trans fluid + filter + in-line filter, and lastly the fan clutch.
