Need help with direction on rusty floor pan
Hello. I started posting this under 4x4/technical “Any of your K’s getting stimulus love?”
But maybe this is a better area. I’m new to this and I’m wondering how bad the floors need to be to replace them. The passenger side of my recently purchased (with stimulus $ ) 75 K10 has mostly surface rust BUT there are a few pin holes in the passenger floorboard. My question is, What is the solution for this? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks Vinnie |

I'd bet if you had it sandblasted youd have more than a few pinholes...much better to cut it out and replace if you've got it in you...what are the plans for the truck?

Re: Need help with direction on rusty floor pan
I think you are right on the money sir. Several pinholes and a couple just smaller than a dime. I just want to get it solid. I’m not worried about the outside much. I just want it rust free and mechanically sound. It will be a daily driver. No show truck.
I want to clean up the grill guard paint or powdercoat and keep that on there with the winch. Thanks for the advice! |
