Throttle Postion Sensors.
I am planning to put a yet to be determined fuel injected motor in my Plan D truck project.
In order to run the transmission I want which needs a TPS among a couple of other inputs, but so does the engine management. So here's the issues. Can I splice the tps wire togather? From the trans, and ecm. Or is there a LS style throttle body with dual TPS sensors I can adapt too. |

Re: Throttle Postion Sensors.
I do not think there will be any issues as you are just accessing the signal. I added another connector in parallel to ecm on the map sensor on my harness for the pwm fuel pump controller from Vaporworx that I am using. Carl at Vaporworx told me it is no problem.
Picked up an extension harness for the map. Less than half that adapter harness. It gave me a male and female plug, cut in half. I soldered one end on the engine harness and the other end will go to the controller. Here an extension harness for the tps https://www.ebay.com/itm/12086598680...375317008177ab A lot less just a little work. Just quick search, sure there are others. If buying the Summit wye connector you still need to purchase another pigtail to connect to it. Added cost.
