Tandem lock light ?

Hello all,
I am brand new here and a have a first question. I was curious what "tandem lock" on the fuel gauge was ? It is on a 72 blazer if that helps.

Thanks

Sounds like your fuel guage was switched out at some point in its life with a gauge from a big truck like a C40 C50 or C60.

Welcome, where are you from? Got any pics of your Blazer?

I am from California, I am looking for one at the moment. I had a "72" years back and wish it was never sold.

does your blazer have a tach dash??
sounds like someone installed a tac dash out of a big truck.

My 72 4x4 blazer also has the tandem lock gauge.I just assumed it was for the limited slip differential, the only time the light comes on is when I put it in four wheel drive.
