Hubcaps for 16.5 wheels
I've got 3 16.5x9.75 steelies, two have the nubs on the outside of the inner ring to hold caps in the conventional way (the one on right in the pic, for example). And I have one that appears to have no way of attaching a hubcap (on the left). And I have seen these wheels that have clips to hold caps (silver painted one). What's the deal? Can you even find or get the caps that were meant to be held on by the clips? Does anyone have a pic of what it would look like? I'm having the worst time trying to put a set of these together.

I have 3 that have the nubs for the conventional caps, and 1 that has no nubs like yours. What type of caps do you want to run? I think you could make the new style like up to 2008 8 lug center caps work with conversion lug nuts.

I would just make some tabs similar to whats on the inside of the hump and weld them to the outside to attach the 12" caps like the first two.

The ones with no nubs actually have tiny nubs on the inside. Those are for Ford hubcaps. The inner clip type ate for '68 and earlier GMs. The caps look the same as the 1/2t caps for each year. Same size and everything,but the inner lip is different on the back of the hubcap. You just need to find the right wheels or maybe weld something up to work.

Oh I looked again, the second wheel is the only one with the outer bumps. durr
