Undercoating/rhinoliner?
I will be removing my bed to treat underside of bed and frame with por12 or similiar product.I am thinking rhinoliner would be a good thing to use under the bed and wheelwells after treating the surface rust or would a quality paint be better?

Re: Undercoating/rhinoliner?
It depends on whether you drive this daily or not. Rhino adds weight which is fine for something you might street/strip with. I would just do the wheelwells but if you decide to have the whole thing done ask for smooth no texture. Texture will hold every speck of dirt to it like a magnet.

Re: Undercoating/rhinoliner?
It goes on smooth then the last couple of coats are sprayed with high air pressure [my choice] for a near Line X look. If its shot with less air its kinda globby and messy looking.
As far as the weight thing goes depending on how thick you want it the average weight it adds is about 60-100 pounds. |
