67 C30 Bucket Seats?

I spotted what is left of a 67 C30 motorhome that is going to be parted out. I was curious if anyone might have an idea what they would have used in a 67. I imagine that they are out of a GM car. Just wondering if they would be worth grabbing?

Re: 67 C30 Bucket Seats?

It's hard to say. In 67/68 they were buddy buckets, but back then just plain bucket seats. The RV company sourced their own parts for such changes to properly outfit these campers. Buddy buckets wouldn't have allowed for the pass-through, so they used something else. Never seen ones like those used, so it may be possible they weren't with the truck originally? Can we see the fronts?

I am not sure when they will put it out in the yard. I will check back on it the next couple of days. Hopefully snap some pictures.

Re: 67 C30 Bucket Seats?

the ones from my 68 looked to be just some cheap repops from JC Whitney or someone similar. The passenger front seat actually tilts forward. Gave mine away to a buddy.

Almost look like 64/65 Nova or Chevelle buckets.

I pulled a set of buddy buckets from a 67 OR 68 C30 years ago that the company hacked the inner part of the frame off and threw away the center console for the walk through. Had some crude metal work on the inside of the frame work. (to make 2 individual seats)Too bad they are buried in the garage somewhere.....

Ah, the things we did to these trucks back when they were just the current model and they were everywhere

Re: 67 C30 Bucket Seats?

The truck made it out in the yard this morning. I ended up pulling a bunch of parts off of it that I was not planning on.

Nab that steering wheel...you'll get at least $125 for it on the parts board.

Thanks for the heads up. I will grab it tomorrow if it is still there. It is starting to crack, and I did not have a puller with me.
