1971 c20 daily driver build

I got my truck home yesterday. It is a 1971 Custom Camper c20..A/C, Power steering, power brakes, 402, 400 trans, dual saddle tanks, rear leaf springs, cab lights. Plans are to make it a daily driver. Would like to repaint, nice wheel-tires, vintage modern air conditioner. Was thinking of smallblock but now may just keep the 402. Later might put in a 700r4 trans for the overdrive. This truck is very rust free. I can only find a nickle size at the bottom of each door. None in the rockers or cab corners.

Does anyone know what might have been under the "custom Camper" badge??? I have seen some pictures of some trucks were the morot plate was under it. My motor plate is in the front of the fender. Dealer name maybe????

I know this is old, but My engine badge is under my custom camper name plate, looks like that one was too, and someone moved it under the marker light

You say it's a '71, but according to the pictures, the grille is a '69-70, Its a super nice truck either way.
