Lightbulb Ebay

I have order items off ebay before and have been pleased. The question I have is...Do alot of you buy parts of ebay? I have found that the prices are some times a third of the cost of other catologs. Are these parts good quality and what part of ebay is the best place to find parts? Thanks for all of the help so far.

You kinda get what you pay for.... I have gotten used parts off ebay and gotten what I expected. But you do need to make sure of what you are getting before you bid. I like asking the buyer questions up front....

Yep, buy and sell. You have to know how to search well and be patient to find the deals. Likewise a well listed item will bring more money. You'll find a full spectrum of quality from crap to NOS. Don't always buy the cheapest one you can find either. Be educated about what your looking for.

heck, most of the parts on my truck came from ebay, like the other guy said, you just have to be patient, usually once there is a bidding war,i back off, because then it just gets stupid, and if somebody see's that something sold for 3 times what it is worth, then everybody puts them on there and then you end up getting them for 1/4th of the cost,it makes me laugh sometimes

Just make sure you check out their feedbacks. I buy also all the time and have sold parts there from time to time. I have had good luck both ways.

I don't buy much on e-bay for my truck. If it is a part one of the vendors has, I go there. I just like the reassurance that I get knowing I can call the vendor and have someone that will help me if I have a problem with the part. What I would save on e-bay is not worth the time it would take me to find and be comfortable buying it.

Most of the time I buy NOS GM parts, and used ones sometimes. Recently I got a set of NOS 69-72 taillight bezels for 15 bucks!
