Header question
My question is would it hurt to run a long tube header and a shorty, my Dilemma is I had long tube headers on a BBC and couldn't use my original clutch linkage setup, so I had a friend that had a set of shorties so with alittle whacks from a hammer and minor frame trimming I got that sucker in there and was able to use my original clutch setup. So I move on to the passenger side and remove the long tube proceed with the shorty and I've trimmed more than I wanted to and still need more and I'm up against the motor mount bracket now. So now I'm just shaking my head and thinking why didn't you just leave the long tube on there but a buddy of mine said something about back pressure, So my question is will it really hurt it running with one long tube header and one shorty...other than just looking odd..But hey this truck is ODD anyway.... You know this was supposed to be a simple bolt in engine but man of man has it been really trying me lately...

Re: Header question
well Randy to answer your question it shouldn't make that much difference other than just looking odd, so I say go ahead and run it....

Re: Header question
I'd run stock cast manifolds before I'd run a set of severely mismatched headers as you describe. The flow velocity is going to be very uneven. Sure we are splitting hairs I guess. If you don't care, then I don't care. LOL.

Re: Header question
I may try to see if I can shorten the long tube one to get closer match to the shorty...
