Sub works, all others silent.

Just did a motor swap. All speakers (6 plus sub) were working before the swap.

Now, only the sub box can be heard.

I have an equalizer, two amps, and a Pioneer head.

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance for the help,
Tim

check, check, and quadruple check all of the connections. Make sure nothing is backwards and that all your grounds are actually grounded haha. That is always my first step.

Re: Sub works, all others silent.

I know it's not necessarily the most useful advice and definitely tedious, but you never know. It's better than pulling your hair out later for something so simple.

I agree. Grounds can make you feel stupid. Thanks for saving me from that.

I will have time this weekend and post my find.

Thanks,
Tim

Check the power wire too. Are your amps wired to junction blocks with seperate fuses?
