Shift improve kit

I installed a new rear main seal, new oil pan gasket, new bm holeshot 1900 to 2100 converter and tomorrow im servicing the tranny with a filter kit. I know that if i want to install a shift improve kit that it would be the best time cause the tranny is out. Any suggestions on a good shift improve kit? This will be the first time im going to open a tranny but im pretty mechanically inclined. Do kits come with step by step directions and specs? And can it be done in one day? I wont be racing it but i want to know i have the power and get up there. Its a 350 4 bolt main small block with a turbo 350 tranny. Thanks for any help and advice.

Re: Shift improve kit

B&M makes the best kits IMHO for the TH350/400. It is easy to do and does come with simple instructions and the needed drill bits to open a few holes in the spacer plate. Truthfully most shift kits for TH350/400 are just a few springs and drill bits. Nothing major unlike 4L60E's those are much more involved, but still easy.

Re: Shift improve kit

X2 on the transgo reprogram kit. I also run type F in my th400. Lots of guys have done this. Like a mild shift kit by simply changing oil types. I likely opened a can of worms on this one. Lol. Interested to hear what others have to say.

Re: Shift improve kit

My favorite for the TH350 is the Superior HP

However, to get the best results, the middle seal in the direct clutch drum must be removed
