dash pad with guages

i was reading an old truckin and they did a dash pad install with 3 guages in it, plus it covers the whole dash not just the lip. the pad is from just dashes and i was wondering if anyone has this product so i can consider it for myself.

They started out around $500 (without the guages), but the price seems to have dropped a lot - probably because nobody was willing to pay that much. Still seems expensive to me. I've heard that they stick out a long ways beyond what the originals did too.

it's supposed to cover the whole top of the dash, not like the original (that covers the edge.) maybe that's what you heard.
