Will a regular long bed fit on a camper deluxe?

Re: Long bed question

How about Custom Camper?
Nothing but shocks, tires, springs and a sway bar.

Re: Long bed question

What do you actually have there? All longbeds are the same size in all models from 67-72.I know that.

Re: Long bed question

I'm sorry it was late last night. I meant custom camper. The original wood bed is in fair shape, and I was thinking, if possible I would replace the bed with a regular long bed until I can save up cash to replace the wood.

Re: Long bed question

well, hold on a sec... there may actually be some confusion...
Are we talking about a GMC... or a Chevy?
If GMC, is there an extended section at the front of the bed?
If so, you need to take a look at my longhorn website link in my signiture.

Re: Long bed question

well, you can install a regular long bed, but it would leave a 6 inch gap between the cab and bed.
