Need ideas for new wheels. 1969 GMC

I am wanting to look into getting some new wheels for my truck. Some photos and suggestions would be nice. I am also attaching a photo of my truck onto this thread.

What's your price range? Are you looking for stock type or custom 20s? Suspension staying stock or going lower? My personal favorite on solid color trucks is steelies and OEM caps and rally wheels on the two tone trucks...

I don't think the bigger wheels, 18+, look right without being lowered. So what are your plans? What do YOU like?!?!?! Is the truck 5 or 6 lug? Are you going to convert to 5 lug? Etc...

Re: Need ideas for new wheels. 1969 GMC

I want to keep stock height. It is a 6 lug and I am planning on keeping it that way. I do not want anything bigger the 17' wheels. I do not know what I am looking for style wise so different ideas would help. I tried searching and all I got was boss wheels and that is not exactly what I am looking for.

You have very few options with six lug (compared to 5 lug). Steelies and truck rallies are very popular as are the corvette\camaro rallies (that,s what I run on mine with smoothie caps).

IMO, it is hard to beat 6 lug Rallys for a stock height 6 lug truck. 17" or bigger wheels do not look good unless the truck is lowered, IMO.

Chrome Smoothies from Wheels Vintiques are very reasonable and easy to keep clean.

Has anyone ever tried this style or similar wheel on one? I know the sizes and lug pattern are wrong in link; its just for reference.

@IronAngel. I like the smoothies but I am looking more for a more custom look.

Also for a price range I would prefer under $150 a wheel.
