Please, help 98 5.7 vortec issues
Yesterday it started and drove fine, I turned the key back for the radio and played music for maybe two hours without the key in the ignition.
Last night it wouldn't start, just clicked and kind of shook under my feet (which is very weird) but all lights turned on fine. The battery is new, I don't know what it is maybe the starter? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks. '98 suburban 5.7 vortec Posted via Mobile Device |

Turn the headlights lights on and put a volt meter across the battery. Should be 11-12VDC. Any less and you must have drained your battery too much. Batteries can be drained, but under small loads may not appear so until you go to draw a heavy load from it (like from starting it).
Running a radio for 2 hours could have drained it enough.......
