Welcome to the board Loveland! I spent a lot of time there with my Grandparents. I LOVED that place!!

The only thing to remember is to bench bleed the master cylinder and then bleed all 4 wheels after you've got the MC installed.

Re: 1972 gmc brake master cylinder replace

first welcome to the board from Texas..now it is better to bench bleed the new m/c before you put it on, most new and rebuilt m/c come with two clear hoses in the box, just put it in a vice and use a rod or big screw driver and put the hoses in the brake line holes and snug them up. then fill it up with fluid and push real hard with the screw driver in the back of the m/c rod hole until the air is out of the fluid coming out of the two clear tubes. this will take several pumps in and out, hope this helps.
