Question Two Different Trailing Arms?

So I'm starting to do the rear portion of my CPP Grand Slam install and I am replacing the rotted trailing arms with some I got from a member here, and when under the truck I noticed that the trailing arm on the left is different than the one on the right. The one on the left has a dip in it. Both the replacement ones I got from the member are straight like the one on the right.

So whats up with that?

Re: Two Different Trailing Arms?

They are supposed to be straight, that one was compromised by rust to the point it just buckled, it is not uncommon on these old trucks.

Oh... Hmmm... That's interesting. Hope I don't run into any problems.
