flip install question aftermath

So I just installed the flip kit in the rear of my truck. it was the one off of ebay that is just the U shaped bracket. Now after some reading I want to make sure I don't need to go back in and change some stuff.

- I didn't flip the bolt in my leaf spring that aligns the U bracket. I left it the way it was.
_ I also just allowed the stock U bolt spring Bracket that sits on top of the leafs when stock, to line up over the spring bolt on the bottom

Has anyone else done it this way?

do I need to go back and redo some stuff or will this way work safely?

That is how I did mine, and it is seems fine. I was worried about the same thing when i did mine. After reading everything I could find seemed to come down to preference and opinion. On the actual bolt, so long as it isn't interfering by not allowing the leafs to seat properly should be fine but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Re: flip install question aftermath

Not sure on the stock bracket question but regarding flipping the leafspring bolt, when I installed my Western Chassis flip kit, it stated nothing about flipping the bolt. I've seen some people do this, but I saw no reason to, and as I said, the instructions never said anything. Seems to be working fine!
