dyeing carpet

what do you guys use to dye carpet? my blue carpet is faded in a few spots. wanted to dye it to save me from buying all new carpet.

I bought some Ritz dye, It comes in a powder. I put it in a quart spray bottle with water and sprayed on my black carpet. My carpet was faded pretty bad and looks brand new.

I know that my way might sound like a halfa$$ way to do it, But it's cheap, it's easy and it works.

the detail trucks used to sell a liquid carpet dye for auto.. havent seen it in a while
they also sell carpet dye in spray cans

x2 on the Rit dye. Ive had decent luck with it, too.

did it color match pretty well? ive got blue carpet. and only could find dark navy blue dye at autopart stores

i used a spray can found on auto parts store for vinyl and carpet came out really good

Before dying carpet and seats...


After dying carpet and seats... (seats and carpet were not removed)

I've also used the spray can for the seats in my chevelle and it worked very well and has lasted for 3 years now.
