Cool pic. It's interesting to see how trucks have evolved. Look at the difference in bumper size, windshield rake and bumper size.

Nice pair of trucks!

I sure liked your 71 when I saw it at the Tahlequah show.

Yeah, the headlights are huge also. I thought my 71 was much taller than the new one but side by side its not that much higher.

That's easy to fix... I always thought it would be cool to 2 tone a newer truck and airbrush the trim on

Nice truck. Two-tone it!

Yeah,I've noticed how bulky all the new trucks are. That '12 is closer to the ground, yet about as tall as the '71. I've parked next to Tundras and Titans with my '92 K3500 and it's dwarfed by those 1/2 tons. Must be the air bags have them all puffed up . I parked my '85 Jimmy with 4" lift and 35s next to a Mercedes crossover and it looked a foot narrower and really trim by comparison. It didn't look big at all and that Mercedes looked like a pregnant pig. Remember when a bumper was a bumper? Now they're half of the front body! I laugh when I see newer car bumpers on he side of the road. Reminds me of when a cheap toy would break when I was a kid
