Just saw this on an Icon car...

SpeedHut gauges. Integrated Tach with Speedo is pretty sexy.

Hey, not related to the gauges, but here's another 1968 GMC 910. I imagine you don't see many (or at least we sure don't down here!).

That was my Dad's, he bought it in 1970 or so in Regina. Sold it when he passed away in the mid 90s. Doubt it has survived, but it could still be around! More lumber than metal in the rockers though...

Would have to see them in person and see the night lighting. The Dolphin Quad set up had poor lighting and I do not know if the company has resolved that issue. Price is good if it comes with all the senders (not looked at the add).

I like the idea of the GPS speedo. Simplifies install and makes tire and wheel changes easy (no re-calibration associated with gearing etc)

I've never had a GPS speedo, but the GPS in my radar detector takes several blocks or even miles to get a good enough signal to display speed. I wouldn't want that in a car, if I could avoid it.

I've wondered the same thing. Last time I used gps with gauges was using a speed app on my phone to calibrate an electronic speedo. Had to hold 60mph for a few miles to make sure the speed app on my phone had good signal. Note the difference between speedo and speed app. Then just look in the manual for the correction factor, flip a few switches on the back of the speedo and it was done. No need to worry about signal strength after that.

There's been a couple people who've installed the speed hut gauges here. I know a guy with a Camaro that has them too. The GPS works. It takes a few seconds to aquire a signal, then works pretty damn good out in the open.

Do a search for speed hut gauges and you should find the info.
