Hello!

I just got a chance to check back in with everyone.

The surgey went well. I'm sore as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, but still have plenty of hydrocodone pills to take the edge off.

I had my first session of radiation Tuesday and ended up sleeping for like 14 hours straight. I seam to only want to sleep now. I have to take multi-vitamins because I don't feel like eating anything either. I have already lost 7 pounds since last Thursday (not like I couldn't stand to lose a few).

It has been colder than a witches tit, in a brass bra, in a blizzard here. Was -11 last night, and went to +4 for a high. Tonight is going to -16, and wind chills to -30. We had 8" of fresh snow Monday, and I didn't even get to play in it.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve and day. Spend it with family, and even try to get along with the in-laws

Glad to hear you made it through. It's not too much warmer down this way (23) at last count. Couple more months and the mud bugs will be in season.

ALRIGHT DON!!! Great to hear from you. You'll be done with radiation and feeling good in plenty of time to play in the snow.
Merry Christmas.

LOL, how did I know you would be the one to suggest that?

Yes, this Christmas is definately one to remember. My family and friends take on more importance than ever before. This board is just wonderful, and the friends I have met here, and the friends I haven't all are part of my heart.

I have learned a lot in the past 10 days. My problems are nothing compared to some this holiday season. I have met some people at the hospital that make my cancer look like the common cold. I have met children in stage 4 cancer, and they are here alone with no family or friends to spend Christmas. I went there today with some candy to spread some holiday cheer, and it made me feel like a million bucks. I think I will recover from this and hope I will not have a relapse somewhere else in my body. One thing this has taught me is I am just a humble human being, and doing my best to make people happy around me everyday will make me richer than Bill Gates. Things in my life that was so important before, have now taken back stage to the rest of my life.

Merry Chrismas to all I have met on here, weither in person or on-line.
