3/4 ton vs 1/2 ton 2wd

just curious what the biggest difference is between 3/4 ton and 1/2 ton

i assume bigger rear axle/8 lug

anything else?

found a 72 3/4 Burb for a good price and i have always wanted to build a bagged cruiser out of one

*edit* i did a search and turned up nothing, sorry if this has been asked before

You can change the front and rear to 1/2 ton pretty easy. Change the rear end and panhard bar. On the front change outer tie rods, upper ball joints and the whole lower a-frame(including ball joints)and spindle.
