Post Pics of 68 Suburban Bucket seats

Yes, this was an option just as in the trucks. The difference is the console, it is hinged differently and does not have the center seat back. I wonder how many of these were ordered and survived! I bet very few. I want to thank board member Jose from Oregon for these. Feel confident in dealing with Jose. I bought these sight unseen from him as I've always been happy with his stuff. I'm extremely happy with these, and they'll look nice in my son's 68 burb. Thanks Jose!

Cool, never new that.
Were the seats switched around? Kinda odd that the passenger seat is thrashed and the drivers looks good?

Jeff, I bet there are not too many still out there. I have only seen one set myself. Will be a great addition to the burb. Is it going to make the trip to Carlisle?

Cool info Jeff. That Burb must have been owned by Jack Sprat.

First I've even seen a pic of. Looks very much like the 67-68 trucks CST seat except for the piece you mention not there on a burb seat. What's different about the hinge area? Unique find.

You can tell from the wear patterns on the cushions that someone has swapped the drivers and passengers cushions at some point.

That could be. No matter last I knew LMC sold the covers for them, or any decent Upolstery shop could recover them, I've seen it done. I'll post a pic comparing the hinges between the truck set I have and this burb set.

Bill, I don't know what vehicle I'm bringing, all I know is that it has to hold to 4x4 tranny/xfer case combos for you and I don't want to pull a trailer this year.

Thanks Jeff for the publicity . I ran into those buckets by chance . I must admit that i could not keep a straight face when that fellow at junk yard told me how much he wanted for them i think i even poked a hole in my pocket trying to dig out my change . The 68 burb was scheduled for the crusher next week so they would have been lost forever . Jeff send me a picture after they are installed in your sons burb .

Gee_Emm those buckets on e-bay are for 67/68 truck here is the item # 1822958327

congrats, Jeff. those are very uncommon seats, i had a 68 GMC suburban several years ago that had a set of those. Bill at vintage chevy out here in fremont ,ca. has a set also. thats the only ones i'd ever seen until i saw yours.
You're right about Jose too, he's a first class guy to deal with.
