Help with crossmember

I have installed an automatic in place of my 3 spd and am having trouble getting the crossmember put in. Is there a trick to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my daily driver and I have nothing else to drive to work. Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with crossmember

The only thing I can remember having to do is jack up the back end of the tranny as high as you can and aggrivate it in. May need to use a hammer and block of wood, I can't remember.

Re: Help with crossmember

It does have to go in at an angle and use a big hammer.
