Front hub problems 72 4x4 help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 72 4x4 that i have been working on for about two year and i just got it on the road but the front hubs keep coming lose. I dont know why i have torked them down and locktighted the nuts inside and they still keep doing it. I am not sure if i am missing a piece somewhere. Any response will help or a good diagram I have already destroyed a set of wheel bearings and two hubs.

Sounds like the inner spindle nut is missing the little pin that locks into the lock washer...

That sounds like a good possibility.Could you list what parts you have installed from the outer bearing-out?

Yes that was the problem thanks guys but now I have another problem I need a set of hubs for a 72 1/2ton 4x4
