Edelbrock fuel pump in 1974 Blazer

I'm mocking up a 350 for install into a '74 Blazer, and it looks like the Edelbrock pump has a major interference with the engine mount. The Edelbrock inlet/outlets are 180 degrees apart; I was thinking I could just rotate the inlet fitting outboard - pointing away from the engine - to clear, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this pump installed and could share how they resolved this.

THANKS!
