Tall Valve Covers Won't Fit!! What R my options????

Can you buy a smaller booster? I bought a serpentine system that has a pump for hydraboost off a 91 3500. What is the easiest hydraboost to bolt in? Will I have to change my steering box? Thanks in advance.

I think they should fit once you get them on, but don’t know for sure. Can you loosen the booster and set a cover on for a test fit?

I could probably take the booster a loose and get them on but I hate to have to do that when I need to adjust the valves.

Re: Tall Valve Covers Won't Fit!! What R my options????

you could change to a 3/4 ton bendix dual diaphragm booster.. you would need the shorter brackets and the booster..smaller in dia.

I’m not picturing it being that tight of a fit I guess. Can you just loosten the bolts and move it over a little?

Have you tried another valve cover? I had a set of Moroso fabricated covers that were "Square" on top like yours and they hit my booster. I switched to another cover that was more "Rounded" on top and they cleared fine. Just a thought.
