Re: 68 chevy

i dont know id i have any more pics of the bed when i did it but i have done a bunch of them its actually pretty simple and what i found is the key is to cut it close to the front instead of 5-6 inches back i see allot of guys like to cut them in the middle and you will get allot of warping up at the front the edge of the bed absorbs allot of the heat and if you shave your side marker lights you cut it far back as well it works out pretty killer

the sanden 508 comp works killer there are just a few mods you have to do to it im doing one in the next few weeks on a 53 chevy im working on as well as this truck ill take pics as i go

Re: 68 chevy

Seen your other work on here and it is all equally impressive. As others have said, that color combo is wicked. Now that you've bagged a few, how's the ride at "normal" height?

Re: 68 chevy

thanks everyone i appreciate all the good words ...and as far as the ride i get out of them it all kinda depends on where you place the bags in the rear allot of guys put them right over the axle which works killer but you tend to get a lil bit of a stiff ride when its aired up kinda high but i like to run a 2-link set up or a triangulated 4-link and run the bags kinda far up on the bars that way it doesnt take allot of pressure to lift and you get a nice soft ride my drive hight is usually pretty low all the time lol but my dad tends to drive his a lil higher and he loves it here are a few pics of another one i bagged pics are not that great but i didnt take many of that one lol

Re: 68 chevy

now that i just saw the pics bigger they really are bad hahahah but allot of it wasnt finished off the guy still wants to z the frame and make it lay body but he ran out of money so he had to wait but it was a factory trailing arm truck but i took all that out and built new 2-link bars using 2x3 box but a set up like this will ride killer at pretty much any hight

Cool trucks.
Is the white 69/70 the old yellow one from IFCustom's website?
