frame numbers

I found my frame numbers can anyone tell me what they stand for.
3935801-462 6--25-7 ds front cabmount 3935802-462 6--21-7 ps front cabmount 462 ds,ps rad. mounts

The 1st part is the part #for the frame I think,not sure about the 2nd part.

You need to give us the numbers on the Driver side frame above the power steering gear box.

The 8 shows that it is a 68 and the 213086 shows that it is the 213,086 unit made that year and should match the last 6 digits on you vin/title.

s means that it was originally a 6 cylinder. e would have been an 8 cylinder.

The S designates the build plant. My truck has a Z which is fremont ca.

Your right. It's the second character in the VIN that denotes the 6 or 8 designation. Mine has a Z also. I had them switched. Sorry.
