OT: value of inline 216

what would a running inline 6- 216 ci be worth...my friend has one out of a 50 chevy ansd wants to know value

It all depends. If you can find a sucker for that fine piece of automotive history, never to be reproduced, the last of its kind, a rolling relic, you could get $200. That's a good price to start at. A rebuildable block is worth $50, if you can find someone to buy it. Your price will be somewhere between. Last one I had got $40 at the scrapper. Now, if you're concerned about your c.i., it's another story. C.I.=Cylinder Index, the number of cylinders that you actually own, running or not, must be internal combustion engines. Mine is 29, not big, but I'm a city dweller. I know one guy who is near 200.
