1 ton suspension

Does the 1 ton front suspension have spacer under the spring? If so, are the ball joint different than the 3/4 ton ball joints?

I am toying with lifting the truck a little. I need a couple more inches to unload the water tank properly. I already have a 4" skid to put under the tank. One or two more inches will make it work. And since the truck is stripped of all front suspension, now is the time to do it.
