Question Rear seat location

I need the rear seat bolt whole location. Maybe a measurement from front to back. I can get whole pattern from the seat itself. Have to make a support bracket for the underside and adapt it to a truck floor because i have no floor. Thanks for your help. Also will a truck replacement sill work? Is the sill cut out for frame or dose the frame tail down and go under sill. Scratching my head. Pat

Re: Rear seat location

A truck rear sill will be slightly different than a Blazer sill. First, not sure if any truck sills have the frame rail notches that the later Blazers have. Secondly, the hight of the rearmost body mount "stands" which are welded to the inside of the sill will be taller than those for a later Blazer because the framerails in the later Blazer are higher and pass through the notches in the sill. In general, a Blazer floor sits closer to the frame than a truck bed floor. With that said, the bed support rails that run side to side under a Blazer floor are made of channels that are not as deep as the rails under truck bed floors. I know these things because I just replaced my Blazer floor with a long bed truck floor, but was able to save my rear sill and support rails.
