70 C10 control arm shafts socket sizes?
Can anyone tell me the proper socket sizes I need to remove the upper and lower control arm shafts on a 1970 c10? I'm referring to the big ones on each end of the shafts.

I know the lowers are 1 5/8''.

Thanks for the info. I managed to locate the socket but the 1 5/8 does not fit the lowers very well, at least on my replacement parts. A 1 3/4 socket is too big. I'm about to check the installed pieces. The parts house pieces look like they should, but I'm a bit confused at the moment. Maybe 1 11/16? Or maybe the sockets just a bit off. It's a 12 point and I thought those fit everything...

Yep, the socket fits the installed pieces, but not the replacement parts.
