My $400 67' build

Here's my truck It's been professionally lowered on what I believe to be Eibach springs. I cleaned one of the springs off to see if I could find a name and found what looked like Eib so I'm assuming Eibach. Has a Newer rear end, New Chrome bumper, New tires 235/50/15 fronts and 255/50/15 rears, New $500 Kenwood Cd player, Edelbrock carb. and I got all this for $400!!! Oh yea it does run and drive and everything works The older gentleman I bought it from was moving that weekend and needed it gone so I think I got a hell of a deal.

List of things todo:

Tint the windows: Started
Fix heater: Done and let me say all rodents need to die BUT not in my heater box
Figure out how to get more then 1 speed wipers: Done
Figure out new tranny issue: Working on it- Done
Install my new Flowmasters:
Find some bigger rims:
Get rid of minor rust: Working on it
Paint it: Painted roof
Fix gauge cluster lights: Done
Bag it:

NICE score! 400 bones you can't lose. The truck looks complete, from what I can see. Heck you could spray it matte black and put some red pin stripe on it and make a huge profit and not even break a sweat doin it! Suhweet!

Re: My $400 67' build

Project update:
I've managed to trace down some issues with my heater flap/door. Cleaned out a HUGE mouse nest and now it blows/works great still smells a little like urine though :/ I don't know how to get rid of that, any ideas? Next issue is figuring out why my trucks not taking off in first now doesn't seem like it's down shifting. But I'm thinking it's the Vacuum port that comes off the intake the rubber hose looks like garbage thanks to my small fire. If you guys have any ideas on how to fix any of my issues feel free to post your opinions/ideas. Thanks

Spray-Bomb: Yep it's a long bed oh YEA!!

Thats awesome. Perfect start for a low buck rat rod/patina style cruiser. What motor and trans is in it?

Re: My $400 67' build

The numbers on the block aren't for a 327 so I have no clue what motor is in it. As for a trans it's got a Turbo350

Re: My $400 67' build

So I got a little ambitious the other day and prepped my roof for paint. Got all prep done, primed and figured might as well spray the roof Planning on getting the front clip prepped and primed this weekend. Ignor the mess in the bed of the truck I also gutted the interior for interior prep/rust removal and tossed all the garbage in the bed for the time being. Well here's the pics
